At Techniplas, we provide cutting-edge solutions for shielding and conductivity in plastic components, protecting against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Our ELAMET coatings are made from highly conductive metals that act as a barrier against high-frequency radiation, ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of devices with plastic housings.
Communication
For fragile, thin-walled, and soldered components used in the communication and mobile sectors, key factors such as impact-resistant materials, lightweight designs, high vibration resistance, and electromagnetic shielding are essential.
Automation
Seamless operation and precise control of tools and machines in automated and networked production environments require an interference-free setting. Our coatings help eliminate electromagnetic disturbances, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Automotive
Electromagnetic fields pose a significant challenge to the electronic control systems of modern vehicles. Our EMC coatings protect key automotive components, ensuring their functionality and, ultimately, the safety of passengers.
Medical Technology
In the medical sector, reliability is paramount. Our advanced surface coatings enhance the durability and performance of medical devices with plastic housings, safeguarding their measurement and analysis functions.
Versatile Solutions for Diverse Requirements
ELAMET coatings offer tailored solutions across various industries, from communication and automation to automotive and medical applications. Combining high conductivity with effective electromagnetic shielding, we provide a range of coating systems customized to meet specific customer needs. Discover the unique benefits of each ELAMET coating and learn how they can optimize your products.
ELAMET 250 to 1000
This coating provides EMI shielding for plastic housings, ensuring EMC compliance. Ultra-thin aluminum layers deliver superior shielding performance due to their high conductivity while maintaining plastic elasticity and impact resistance. An additional protective layer enhances long-term stability.
ELAMET CS
Utilizing copper as a conductive layer, ELAMET CS features a tin coating that allows direct soldering, creating long-lasting, vibration-resistant connections. The tin layer also enhances corrosion resistance.
ELAMET CN
Ideal for components exposed to harsh industrial environments, ELAMET CN combines the high conductivity of copper with the hardness of nickel-chromium or stainless steel, providing superior durability.
ELAMET D
This premium aluminum coating enables high-end decorative and technical applications, such as mirror coatings for reflectors or semi-transparent day-night mirrors. Consumer goods can also be refined according to customer specifications.
ELAMET trans
A transparent conductive shielding solution made from stable metal oxide (indium tin oxide – ITO). This coating provides high transparency for visible light while reflecting infrared radiation. It also dissipates electrostatic charges and protects against electromagnetic interference.
ELAMET Gold
For high-end decorative finishes, ELAMET Gold features a fine 24-karat gold coating.
Advanced Capabilities and Production Excellence
In our state-of-the-art production facilities, we manufacture thousands of components daily and coat tens of thousands of square meters of surfaces with high-tech finishes. Our automated wet-chemical production systems and PVD coating technologies are designed for maximum efficiency and precision, meeting the ever-evolving demands of our customers.
From nano-coatings and contract-based vapor deposition for EMI shielding in plastic housings to chrome(VI)-free plastic coating solutions, we are your trusted partner for advanced surface finishing. Our expert team is ready to consult and help you select the best materials, coating types, and protective layers to enhance your product’s value for end users.
