For our location in Coega Gqeberha, South Africa, we have an immediate opening for a Yard Controller. Reporting directly to the Logistics Supervisor. The successful candidate is a problem-solver who will work closely with the Logistics Team to further improve the business.

*Preference will be given to employees from the Designated Groups

Tasks:

• Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.
• Drive continuous improvement targets in line with key performance indicators.
• Manage 5s of the yard.
• Ensure that the packaging is correctly moved to its location
• Represents the organisation in the community and promotes the organizations goodwill and interest in community activity
• Drive continuous improvement targets in line with key performance indicators.

Required qualifications:

• Grade 12
• Valid forklift license
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
